HTML Executable 4.1 available

A new release of HTML Executable 4 has been published.

HTML Executable now generates real stand-alone EXE files. Previously, the runtime module was only merged into the EXE file and it was unpacked to the temporary folder at runtime. This behavior was misinterpreted by some antivirus programs.
Furthermore, EXE files can now be compressed with UPX or any third-party EXE compressor / EXE protector.
New Authenticode code signing utility: you do not have to download and install SignTool yourself anymore.
Improved HTML viewer engine (lots of changes and improvements).
Improved PDF viewer engine (lots of changes and improvements, especially for image decoding and color spaces).
Improved built-in XML engine.
You can now choose a PDF file as homepage and HTML Executable can create an adapted project ("PDF to EXE" case). See this video tutorial: PDF to ebook software tutorial.
EXE Version Information: version number format is no more restricted (for instance, you can enter 1.23.456.78 instead of 1.2.3.4).
The font size of the Table of Contents can be customized (TOC properties => set property OverrideFontSize to something different than 0).
Optimization when loading very large TOCs.
Fixed: hescript:// urls are now properly decoded when using non-friendly characters for parameters.
Fixed: in "Start Prompt Message", the /§ did not work as a carriage-return-line-feed.
New French (français) language file.
Added NoMultiThreading option to disable multi-threading support in IE publications. Only useful for troubleshooting purposes with some Flash movies (in Windows XP).
HTML Executable now displays time elapsed during compilation.
Several minor bug fixes and improvements.

We have

Added page rotation commands to the built-in PDF viewer.

New menu commands named "Zoom In" and "Zoom Out" for IE publications,

ExeOutput for PHP 1.4.1 is available.

We have released an update for ExeOutput for PHP. Changes include:

new debugging features: Store requests and errors in log file and Enable "Show Source" context menu.
modified how SCRIPT_NAME and SCRIPT_FILENAME PHP variables are created.
added REQUEST_URI and QUERY_STRING PHP variables.
improvement: when requested URL contains no filename, e.g. http://heserver/folder1/, application now redirects to http://heserver/folder1/index.php
removed hard-coded max execution time parameter (was set to 0).

ExeOutput for PHP 1.4 is available.

We have released a new version of our PHP to EXE compiler, ExeOutput for PHP. Lots of improvements are available:

New experimental multithreading support for your PHP applications. This makes GUI applications faster and more responsive while processing complex tasks and PHP scripts.
Note: you can disable multithreading support in PHP Settings / Main Settings.
Added experimental support for flush() - it will work only if you do not disable multithreading support. Remember that some versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer will only start to display the page after they have received 256 bytes of output, so you may need to send extra whitespace before flushing. A sample is available in the General Demonstration.
Fixed ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll problems related to cURL.
Fixed access violation when you open a menu item such as Help -> About while the page is refreshing.
Added IE7 compatibility mode option: if you want your application to use the IE7 rendering engine, even if IE8 or IE9 is set up. Option available at: Application Settings > Visual Controls > IE Browser > UseIE7CompatibilityMode
You can now define whether third-party resources such as PDF, MP3, FLV, MP4... should be extracted to disk or virtualized (PHP Settings / Content Filetypes).
Fixed require_once / include_once and similar problems that could occur in some cases.
Fixed: you can now remove empty folders with the Clean button in File Manager.
Improved text compression.
Improved skin engine.
Improved internal behaviors.
Updated demonstration and documentation.

Our PHP to EXE compiler, ExeOutput for PHP, was updated to version 1.3. Changes include support for IE9 (with HTML 5 and CSS 3), PHP 5.3.6 and a lot of new features:

improved support for Internet Explorer 9 and HTML5 / CSS3. Your applications will now render HTML content with the new Trident (MSHTML) engine provided with IE9 if the latter is installed.
new project wizard look.
new web update utility that can optionally check for new updates and additional downloads.

Description

Product Highlights:

Create one single EXE for Windows: ExeOutput for PHP combines the PHP runtime and all PHP, image, HTML, Flash, JavaScript, XML, PDF, Microsoft Silverlight and other files into one single EXE. Files are compressed and protected: they cannot be unpacked later with a decompiler or an archive tool like 7-Zip.
The executable is stand-alone: the PHP runtime (version 5.3.x) is embedded inside the EXE and is never unpacked to the hard disk.
PHP scripts are never unpacked to the hard disk and even critical PHP scripts may be automatically converted to bytecode for better security thanks to the integrated support for the php bcompiler extension.
Basic PHP extensions are supported and may be embedded inside the EXE too. Database engines like SQLite or fSQL are successfully handled by the PHP engine. You may also have your applications connect to remote database servers.
PHP pages and websites are displayed in a custom secure web browser based on Internet Explorer engine. Standard navigation tools and menu commands are available, and can be customized according to your needs.
Use existing PHP functions and extensions in your applications: graphics, XML, PDF, Zip, databases, and much more.
No server is required! No port and firewall conflicts.
You can design unique GUIs for your applications: choose skins, add custom buttons and menu items, show popup windows, display a tray icon...
Parts of your application can be restricted and/or protected with security profiles.
Portable applications can be created.
EXE customization is allowed with your own icon, version info.
Applications can be digitally signed with a code signing certificate (Authenticode) to avoid the security warning displayed by Vista and Windows 7.
ExeOutput features its own scripting engine (HEScript) that can be combined with PHP and JavaScript.
Full Unicode support (for the application only: PHP 6 will not be supported before the official release).
Settings are saved in projects and managed with a GUI featuring a Windows Ribbon style interface.

We published a minor release of our HTML and ebook compiler: HTML Executable 3.6.1. Upgrade is recommended.

Some changes:

New file protection: virtualization for temporary files. With this option, resource and plug-in files like PDF, Flash SWF, Flash video FLV, MP3... are not unpacked to the hard disk but directly to memory, offering better protection. Remember that compiled files such as HTML, images, JavaScript... are never unpacked to the hard disk whether the virtualization option is enabled or not (except for Self-Extracting publications).

Extended "Only one instance of the publication" option

New stand-alone key generator for publications, available to registered users only (Pro/Commercial).

Several minor improvements and bug fixes.
