-
Packages support two user interfaces: traditional dialog boxes or packages
which look like Windows 2000 (& XP) wizards familiar to your end
users. All user interfaces can
display your own logos, splash screens, trademarks according to your needs...
Flash
- Change the pictures and icons of the packages. You can use your own bitmaps and
therefore display what you want to end users.

- Define in which folder you would like to extract your files. You can also work with
the predefined folders like Program Files, System, Windows, Fonts, My Documents folders...
You can ask end users for the destination folder or read the path from the Windows
registry...
- Ask end users for the Start Menu Folder where shortcuts to your application should
be placed into.
- Optionally display billboards when extracting files. You can advertise your product,
company or Web site.
- Optionally show a progress meter bar during the file extraction process. You have
the choice between several pre-defined progress meter bars from the traditional
one to the similar ones you can find in Windows Explorer (when copying, deleting
files), including wizard-styled progress bar.

- Paquet Builder can generate silent packages that extract their files with all dialogs
hidden (without any user interaction).
- Ability to overwrite, skip existing files or prompt end users for overwriting (with
support for file dates). Optionally you can check for version information using custom actions.
- Possibility to display a standard "Welcome" dialog with an About message box (users
can click Start, Cancel and About) or a welcome step with your own rich text in
the Wizard packages.
- Displays customizable prompt and message boxes at any time.
- Ability to show unlimited "Read Me" or License Agreements at any time (without
size restriction not like other SFX tools) in Rich Text Format. Moreover
Paquet Builder includes a built-in nice RTF editor (Rich Text Pad) which lets you directly edit your RTF texts without needing an external tool.

- Define the name of the executable package (also
its title). No self-advertisement
is made on user's screens.
- Specify your own custom icon for your package (these icons are displayed
in the Windows Explorer). A set of icons is shipped (.ICO files).
- Integrate your own copyright text, file description and/or web homepage in the
version information resource section of the created executable file.
