Our Windows installer maker Paquet Builder 2025.2 is now available. This release addresses some minor issues to enhance your installer creation process.
Key Updates
- UTF-8 Project Saving:
Projects created with older versions are now consistently saved in UTF-8 format, ensuring better compatibility. - Unicode Emoticon Display Fixed:
Resolved issues with Unicode encoding in dialog boxes, ensuring emoticons display correctly. - Sleep Custom Action Bug Fixed:
The Sleep custom action now functions as expected with the new C compiler. - SignTool Error Reporting Updated:
Instead of displaying an error message when SignTool is missing, a notification now appears in the status bar. - Enhanced WebUpdate:
Items intended exclusively for 64-bit (and 32-bit) systems are now properly filtered. Fixed an issue in Web Update too. - Silent Installation Option:
A new silent installation mode for Paquet Builder itself has been introduced to support automated deployments. Note that packages made with Paquet Builder were already supporting silent mode. - Additional Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
Various minor issues have been addressed to improve overall performance.
